FIELDS OF APPLICATION

VORMIOL® PU WetCast is a solvent-free release agent specially developed for the economical production of wet-cast concrete.

The high-quality emulsion combines the advantages of synthetic products with the benefits of water-based ones. VORMIOL® PU WetCast allows the following benefits:

Improved appearance of the surface

Thanks to the new formulation the high-quality release emulsion is particularly suitable for decorative concrete surfaces/ high-quality exposed concrete.
VORMIOL® PU WetCast attains a low-pore, homogenous appearance.

High material compatibility

VORMIOL® PU WetCast protects the sensitive material of the polyurethane moulds and may prolong their durability in a significant way.

Good processing properties

The solvent-free release agent is easy to use, sprayable, quick drying, odourless, non-flammable and non-toxic. These features allow benefits for the manufacturing process.

WORKING PRINCIPLE

VORMIOL® PU WetCast formulates a good bonding film on formworks and moulds with an excellent release effect. The facilitated separation minimises both damages on the produced concrete products and on the formworks/ moulds.

DOSAGE | APPLICATION QUANTITY

Depending on the surface structure and its absorbing abilities the necessary amount might vary between 10 – 20 g/m².
